The Courvoisier Artisan VSOP Triple Oak Cognac is a great mix of essentially Balances Bois, Unimposing Champagne, and Old Borderies eaux-de-strive. It is named ‘triple oak’ on the grounds that the cognacs are matured first in virgin oak barrels. They are then moved to develop containers for the center phase of the maturing system prior to being moved to antiquated wooden tanks for the ‘end game’.
